Parcel & Fulfillment Operations


The Account Coordinator tracks client-facing and internal problems from inception through to closure, escalating and driving resolution where necessary.  They establish and maintain close relationships with key personnel at Newgistics, our service providers, and our customers. 


While problem resolution and relationship maintenance are the foundation of this role, the responsibilities are limited only by the individual's desires and abilities.


  • This person acts in a liaison role between customer service/account management resources and the operations floor.  They service requests (“tickets”) from our customer facing groups, and they track and respond to those tickets on behalf of the operations team.  Examples include inventory inquiries, order expediting, troubleshoot of orders, or coordination of special requests.  The play a similar role for the operating floor if an operation needs clarity from a customer on inventory, orders, etc
  • Coordinate the daily transportation moves for the site.  They ensure freight and the associated paperwork is ready for shipment and ensures that the appropriate carriers are notified of any pick-up needs.  Monitor and make sure all compliance documents for vendors have most recent specifications. Cover all bases on vendor compliances ex. labeling, routing request, and specific carriers
  • They facilitate special “out of the ordinary” customer requests and help ensure both the operations and the customers have the information needed for success.  Examples include kitting, repurposing of inventory, promotional programs, etc
  • Notify customer and provide resolution for any product that is found to be unqualified or damaged during the receiving process
  • Quality audits/sampling for outbound shipments


  • Experience in direct interaction with customers
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to solve problems
  • Strong computer skills , Excel , Word , Power-point , etc
  • Experience arranging LTL freight pick- ups and creating BOL’s.
  • Experience working with USPS, UPS, and other small package carriers
  • Experience, competency or ability to work with EDI transactions where applicable
  • 3-4 yrs. general business experience, 2+ yrs. functional experience
  • 2 yr. degree
