  • Overview

    Responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company and establishing long-range goals,

    strategies, plans and policies to build and maintain a successful organization.




    • Provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice
    • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass productivity, quality and overall company goals and objectives
    • Spearheads the development, communication and implementation of new and effective strategies and processes
    • Collaborates with the COO to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the objectives of the company
    • Motivates and leads a high-performance management team; attracts, recruits and retains required members of the operations team
    • Fosters a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company
    • Engage responsible decision-making that considers cross-functional impacts of current problems, consummately assesses possible solutions, and implements mutually-beneficial, scalable solutions
    • Own all cross-shift decision-making to drive holistic business success
    • Serve as the onsite go-to for any problems, issues, escalations, or unforeseen circumstances
    • Constantly and consistently re-assess core business processes to identify strategies to improve and opportunities for financial gains/savings
    • Foster a positive working environment that promotes support, growth, and development
    • Provide tools, resources, and support to the management team to enable their success
    • Employ tactics to shorten learning curve, increase employee engagement, and maximize productivity
    • Scope necessary changes to operational process by determining the most efficient and financially-feasible strategy to accommodate, design a structured mutually-beneficial rollout plan, and implement without interruption to workflow
    • Regulate the core processes and functions of a tailor-made logistics process, customized to accommodate our vendors’ individual business needs
    • Work with the administrative assistant to manage Consumable Inventory to systematically regulate ordering/purchasing/financials
    • Lead & supervise a multi-faceted team of individuals across multiple levels/functions: operations manager, zone managers, operations analyst, inventory/purchasing manager
    • Foster career development and growth in managers through expectation setting, tracked performance metrics, offered support, and performance review
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader on operational structure, process, and policies
    • Communicate best practices across shifts to create a consistent, efficient work environment
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring:
      • Deadlines are always met
      • Analytical support is provided
      • Multiple solutions are offered
    • All impacted parties are considered and included in communications
    • Complete special projects; Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as required by senior management



    • 4+ years management experience in e-commerce, operations or logistics/supply chain
    • Ability to drive positive change in fast-paced, demanding work environment
    • Ability to identify process inefficiencies, anticipate issues, propose strategic, executable solutions, and drive implementation of improvements
    • Consistently employs sound judgment and exceeds expectations; A natural leader
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Possesses a high level of personal accountability, ownership, and a rigorous work ethic
    • Thrives in a diverse environment working with a wide variety of personality types
    • Has experience with metrics, data analysis, pivot tables, performance management, and Kaizen
    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university ideal


    • Strong written and verbal skills necessary. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,policies, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
