  • Overview

    This position oversees the administration of associate training to optimize the on-boarding, development, and retention of staff. This person is responsible for introducing new associates to Elovations Services Group’s policies, procedures, and expectations.

     

    This individual must communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and remain flexible. This position may require non-standard work hours, such as overtime, weekend, and evening hours in order to support business needs.

     

    This role is designed to improve the onboarding and training experience and best facilitate associate success. This individual exemplifies the image of Elovations Services Group and the goals of the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the application of the training curriculum across all teams
    • Effectively lead and manage production trainers, including but not limited to coaching, counseling, and evaluation of trainer performance
    • Administer tests and evaluations ensuring associates meet needed qualifications and effectively understand the information presented to them
    • Conduct production floor training introducing associates to their job duties and responsibilities
    • Explain the importance of safety and standard work adherence; Coach associates to improve onsite safety standards
    • Communicate changes to training curriculum and ensure adherence to new standards
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on the associate experience
    • Offer additional training and coaching to promote associate/temporary staff success as needed
    • Consistently make recommendations to improve and further develop training resources
    • Assist HR manager with recruiting and onboarding as needed

    EXPERIENCE 
    Must have excellent listening and verbal skills. Previous experience with Safety initiatives and training/orientation practices. Strong people skills and organizational skills required. Background in warehouse environment preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS 
    Strong written and verbal skills necessary. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.
