  • Overview

    The Trainer is a subject matter expert responsible for assisting associates and temporary staff with any issues that arise. They are expected to be knowledgeable, patient but with a sense of urgency, approachable, and be an example for all associates.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Handle escalated parcels that cannot be seamlessly processed through to completion
    • Leverage in-depth knowledge of item and system restrictions to:
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to enable parcels to Ship Forward
      • Efficiently push unresolvable issues to Exceptions Team for handling
    • Offer additional training, coaching, and aided troubleshooting to promote associate success
    • Surface new restrictions and use cases to management to ensure system behavior is operating as expected
    • Ensure that problem / error carts are worked in a timely manner
    • Maintain low backlog in AdvSearch
    • Stock workstations to enable associates to work seamlessly
    • Aid in initial and ongoing training of parcel processors
    • Help correct problem parcels and coach associates to avoid recurrence of error
    • Aid associates in understanding traveler documents and ensuring they select proper reason codes
    • Consistently act as a role model to others: great attendance; no problematic or escalated issues; positive, collaborative attitude

    Qualifications

    • Excellent proficiency using the internet, web browsers, and data entry tasks
    • Extensive knowledge of multiple areas within our operation including an understanding of end-to-end process
    •  Highly detail-oriented, meticulous nature absolutely necessary
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
    • Has proven highly successful as an associate
    • Ability to thrive with minimal supervision
    • Able to coach associates constructively with a focus on their success; Avoids criticism; Acts as an encourager
