  • Overview

    This position is under the direct supervision of the Security Supervisor for assigned shift of the security department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provides any needed assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following the department’s procedures.
    • Serving in partnership with Director of Security as company liaison for public law enforcement or fire department.
    •  Works in tandem with ESG management team to ensure a safe and secure environment at the HUB.
    • Conduct standardized rounds, internally and externally, of the facility and grounds to mitigate potential for theft.
      • Will notify company management promptly of any safety risks, maintenance needs, potential dangers, or other concerns.
    • Vet credentials and ensure only authorized persons are permitted entry to the production floor and administrative offices.
    • Conduct thorough screening of each individual entering/leaving the production floor to mitigate theft risk and ensure associate and visitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Maintain Inbound Driver Log and Visitor’s Log
    • Conduct, oversee and manage the Trailer Dock & Release Procedures for acceptance of inbound volume and shipment of outbound volume.
    • Ensure all safety and security incidents are properly documented and detailed in an
    • Incident Report. Prepare reports that relate to internal investigations of any theft, company loses, or violations.
    • Serving in partnership with Director of Security as company liaison for public law enforcement or fire department.
    • Protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbally and in writing, with diverse ranges of people, including the proper handling of difficult or emotional situations.
    •  Ability to analyze and independently resolve difficult situations or problems.
    • Ability to work long irregular hours under pressure.
    • Ethical Conduct.
    • Teamwork Orientation.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience.
