We are looking for a Technical Solutions Architect to consult with and lead the development of client solutions. This position reports directly to the Regional Director of North America.
Our business is technical consulting in the digital commerce field. This means building award winning commerce site and experiences on top of standard enterprise platforms such as SAP- hybris and Adobe Experience Manager. We also develop custom software solutions for high- profile clients. This role requires exceptional attention to software project delivery detail, and obsessive automation. We are based out of San Francisco, New York, London, Mexico and Moldova.
Serve as technical lead/architect on eCommerce development projects for our clients.

Assist our pre-sales team in winning new clients, and responding to RFPs and RFIs.
Lead/run technical workshops
In general, become a key contributor to the business and technical success of the firm.
Comfortable with a travel expectation of approximately 50%.
Has been a technical lead or architect on multiple enterprise grade software delivery projects, with a strong preference for experience in the eCommerce domain.
Has had multiple direct reports before, and dealt with the administrative and emotional demands of managing a small team of skilled software professionals.

10+ years of general Java development experience, with exposure to both Spring and
8+ years of experience with SQL and a variety of major database vendors and solutions, including ORM solutions like Hibernate.
5+ years of SOAP/XML/JSON and other common data exchange formats.
5+ years of Web Service consumption and development experience.
Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
principles and tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity and Bamboo
Ability to communicate effectively across a range of industries with diverse technologies
Nice to Have Skills
Has read ‘Peopleware' and 'The Phoenix Project', and knows who Gerald Weinberg is.
Is a veteran in the field of eCommerce and Web Content Management systems
Extra bonus points for hybris and/or AEM development experience. Official certification a
very healthy plus.
Has developed configuration-as-code solutions suing tools such as Chef and Vagrant.
Has served on the site support team for a Production site.
Can explain the difference between Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment,
and other SDLC strategies.
An established industry thought-leader who regularly attends and presents at industry
conferences and meet-ups.
Contribution to Open Source initiatives and projects.
Have some native Mobile development experience in iOS/Android.
Experience with designing for and developing against No-SQL databases and storage
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; We won’t hold a
Masters or a PhD against you.
