    Tacit Knowledge is a professional services consultancy primarily focused on Ecommerce systems development and website support. We bring Silicon Valley innovation to Ecommerce. Our thriving London office is in West End and serves customers in Europe and North America such as Mulberry, FitFlop, Gucci, Nike and LVMH.

     

    Tacit has 175 staff across six offices - San Francisco, New York, Austin, Mexico, Moldova and with a rapidly growing team of 40 in London.

     

    Summary

     

    Tacit Knowledge is a team of software developers, analysts and project managers who build websites and mobile apps for the brands and services you use everyday. We pull off these minor feats of engineering wizardry by assembling a team of brilliant yet humble software professionals.

     

    Our business is technical consulting in the digital commerce field. This means building award winning commerce sites and experiences on top of standard enterprise platforms such as SAP-hybris, Demandware and Adobe Experience Manager. It also means exceptional attention to software project delivery detail, and obsessive automation. We are based out of San Francisco, New York and London, with near-shore employees in Mexico and Moldova.

     

    We are looking for a Partner Manager who develop strong relationships with our key partners and of the as well as developing new business leads. This is a new role which will be based in our London office with occasional travel as required.

    Responsibilities

    • You will be responsible for the success of Tacit’s relationships with software vendors, ISVs, and enterprise accounts (Partners)
    • You will have ownership of the relationships including prospecting, negotiations and execution of all new contracts as well as the continued management of existing relationships. You will be responsible for working deeply with our Partners and internal stakeholders to determine how we maintain and grow our partnerships
    • You will identify new partnership opportunities, and over time, evaluate the success of existing partnerships
    • You will manage a handful of large, complex, and long-lasting relationships
    • In this position you will have a quarterly quota to achieve for new partnerships, and will also be evaluated on the strength and profitability of our existing relationships

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years of proven success in strategic partnerships, channel sales, and/or business development (software or professional services consultancy experience highly preferred)
    • Is an experienced project manager, capable of owning complex initiatives from concept to completion
    • Can use Salesforce at a high level
    • Is a fast thinker, able to quickly discern and communicate where there might be mutual value in a potential partnership
    • Has experience working closely with legal to negotiate key business terms and contracts
    • Is able to prioritize amongst competing goals and opportunities
    • Can regularly track and demonstrate progress against long term strategies
    • Has the ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%)
    • Has earned a bachelor’s degree
    • Is a team player with a positive attitude
    • Experience working with enterprise eCommerce platform providers (SAP, Oracle, SalesForce, IBM)   a plus
