A Specialist is to drive success within a portfolio of Newgistics strategic accounts.
Responsible for driving customer service and growth, the Specialist ensures Newgistics is aligned with the customers’ needs and expectations. This position represents and supports the entire range of company services available from Pitney Bowes. In this position, you will be expected to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
A candidate must be able to interact with multiple customers throughout the day while tracking progress and delivering top-notch customer service in a timely manner.
Qualities needed to succeed in this role include relationship building, managing your own time, taking initiative on projects and learn quickly.
The Customer Experience Specialist will report directly to the director of the department, and work closely with cross-functional departments such as, operations, transportation, and technology and account management.
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining material handling equipment and ensuring that they are in proper working order and in safe operating condition. This individual will work with the onsite facility personnel to address any mechanical issues that should arise and take proper action to diagnose and/or fix the problem. The individual will be responsible for maintaining inventory of spares parts and logging the usage of the parts. They will be responsible for notifying the purchasing manager of parts that need replaced. The individual will be responsible for keeping tools, supplies and work area clean and organized. They will follow all OSHA, state and local compliance laws including proper lock/out tag/out procedures.
The Operations Manager is responsible for all day to day functions related to the fulfillment operations of all accounts. The Operations Manager will report to the Facility Manager and directly manages the current supervisory and lead team, and indirectly manage an hourly workforce of 30+ employees with assistance from the supervisory staff and team leads. Functions include but not limited to; P&L support, service level goals, L2R and LMS performance, staffing management and overall daily workforce planning.
The Transportatio Support position is accountable for supporting the Transportation team in delivering high quality services to internal and external clients. Position is focused on supporting the Transportation Coordinators and Transportation Manager for surface transportation. The goal of the position is to aid in the daily duties of the Transportation Department and to deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining department goals. In order to be successful, this individual must be able to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment, interact with all levels of the Newgistics team members and develop relationships with the Newgistics outside vendors.
Please note this position is scheduled Monday & Friday 8:30am-5pm and Saturday & Sunday 5am-5pm.
The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance functions within a facility. The manager will work directly with facility management to minimize downtime and to prioritize the required work. This individual will work with the onsite facility personnel to address any mechanical or electrical issues that arise and take proper action to diagnose and/or fix the problem. This person will be responsible for following OSHA and other standard safety guidelines, conducting business as outlined by company policy, and using personal integrity to accomplish goals. The individual will be responsible for tracking all machine downtime, scheduling and documenting P/M’s, maintaining inventory of spares parts and assisting Operations management to achieve P&L goals, safety standards, performance goals, and customer service standards. The individual will apply continuous improvement on all aspects of maintenance.
The Sr. Developer is responsible for the design and development of front end and backend api applications. The Sr. Developer will work closely with program owner to ensure successful operational development of new applications while maintaining business continuity of existing applications.
This is a hands-on technical role, helping with triaging the application issues, supporting the customer requests, enhancing the existing functionality and building new applications.
This position is responsible for supporting the operation through a variety of positions and activities on either the reverse or delivery side of the operation. Individuals are typically cross trained in Picking, Shipping and Cycle Counting. Responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines.
